Who We Are

Source Power Company is an authorized energy retailer and community solar provider serving New York State exclusively. The senior management team of Source Power Company brings over 25 years of experience in the deregulated retail energy market in New York and over 10 years in commercial and community solar development and finance.

This combined experience has empowered our team to create unique solutions that deliver savings to our customers and dramatically lower costs to our clean energy providers.

Community Solar with Source Power

Source Power Company traces its roots to the intersection of deregulated energy supply and community solar in New York.

As community solar project developers in New York, our team has been dedicated to solving the complexities and accounting for the nuances of VDER and Community Distributed Generation.

We’ve applied these lessons to building Source Power where we create financeable solutions that meet the needs of institutional capital and investors to enter this complex market.

Our experience as an energy supplier in New York has inspired us to create energy products that deliver benefits to residential and commercial customers without relying on marketing gimmicks and giveaways that other suppliers use to attract new customers. Historically, deregulation has fallen short in delivering savings and reliable service to electricity customers in New York.

This has resulted in a black eye for the industry, pressure from regulators and unhappy residential customers that have overpaid for electricity.

Our commitment to customer service and cost savings differentiates Source Power Company among our competitors.
